This month, we had the pleasure of collaborating with our partner, Clariant, to conduct a training on Methanol Catalyst Fundamentals and Operations for our esteemed client, Petronas Chemicals Methanol, held over two enriching days in Labuan. The training highlighted several key areas:
Catalyst Fundamentals – Clients gained valuable insights into the Clariant catalysts utilized in PCMSB Plant 1 & Plant 2. PCMSB explored the fundamentals and monitoring techniques across key sections, including Purification, Pre-Reformer, Primary Reforming, ATR, and Methanol Synthesis. This comprehensive knowledge equips them to optimize performance and ensure efficient operations in methanol production.
Operational Best Practices – Our partner, Clariant, shared industry and product best practices for the effective operation and trouble-shooting of catalytic systems, focusing on optimizing efficiency and performance.
Networking Opportunities – The training facilitated valuable networking, fostering connections that will support ongoing communication and shared learning.
